As many of you know, my late husband Ed and I purchased Ron Jillian’s in 2006 after many years of dreaming about having our own restaurant. We wanted to give our guests well prepared cuisine in a warm, inviting atmosphere paired with a good value.
Over time, the menu evolved: first salads, a few more entrees were added and desserts were made available. Ed was always thinking of new ways to improve the menu and your experience. Despite the changes we made, Ed always dreamed of putting his own “mark” on the restaurant, which is challenging when you take over an existing business.
Throughout that time you, our customers became like a second family, offering your support as we faced my, as well as Ed’s health challenges.
When Ed passed in March of 2017, I lost my husband, partner and best friend. Deciding to continue running Ron Jillian’s and keep our dream alive, I hired Chef Ben Cass and Manager Kendall Connors to help me run the restaurant. Their many shared years of experience in the business have been invaluable in both running the restaurant and maintaining the same customer experience for you. Also, they have been instrumental in the refresh of both the menu and the décor as we brought Ed’s dream to a reality with the launch of Revel 853.
Today, just as back in 2006, we strive to offer creative cuisine at affordable prices. We want you to come in to Revel and enjoy yourself with a delicious meal and a tasty cocktail in a relaxing atmosphere with people you know.
Our expanded menu includes some of the most popular items you’ll remember: appetizers like calamari, crab cakes and mussels. Entrees like Chicken Parmesan, Chicken, Broccoli and Penne, Shrimp Scampi and Fettuccine Alfredo are available. Most of our menu can be made gluten free.
However, if there is an item you would like but do not see listed, just ask your server. We can recreate most items to order, within reason. We have created this menu for you.
So although the name has changed, the walls painted and the menu expanded, Ed’s and my dream remains the same: to provide creative food and interesting cocktails in a warm, inviting atmosphere. We think you will find it here at Revel 853.
